Utility Bridge Power Solutions

Deployable natural gas bridge power solutions that provide prime power until the utility infrastructure is ready for service. RPower offers two types of utility bridge solutions.

Permanent bridge-to-backup gas powerplant

Our permanent bridge-to-backup solutions leverage clean natural gas power plants that serve as the primary power source until the utility interconnection is completed.

After the utility interconnection is made, the RPower generator system provides backup power and allows our customers to offer utility companies much needed flexibility. The solution enables data centers to:

Temporary mobile gas powerplant

Our temporary mobile gas powerplants leverage the same technologies as our permanent solutions, but they come integrated on mobile trailers. They can be:

RPower’s RaaS solutions deploy clean natural gas generators that provide backup power and allow our data center partners to offer utility companies much needed flexibility and capacity. The RaaS solution enables data centers to:

  • Ensure they have reliable backup when the utility grid fails
  • Support the local utility when grid capacity becomes strained
  • Save money compared to the traditional diesel backup solution

By leveraging our clean, natural gas generator solutions, data centers are able to significantly reduce onsite emissions, and can fully decarbonize by utilizing renewable natural gas (RNG).
